Use the reservation List view

The List view shows the day's reservations as a chronological list you can group, sort and filter. It is the view to use before service, on the phone, or when you want to print the day.

Where to find it

Host App › Service View › List button. On a phone the list is the default View.

What it does

• Shows all reservations for the selected date. Opening the List view always switches the shift filter to All Day.
• Group by: time slot (default, with a choice of interval), time of day (Morning, Afternoon, Evening), table, section, party size, status, or No grouping.
• Sort by time, name, party size, status or table, ascending or descending.
• Filters: With allergies, With dietary, party size Min / Max, and Experience (when experiences are enabled). The footer shows "Showing … of … reservations" and Clear filters.
• Card layout or List layout, and row density Comfort (larger text, allergies and notes as labels) or Compact (tighter rows, allergies as icons with tooltips).
• A walk-in bar for today: Walk-in: party size buttons, with table suggestions.
• Status labels per booking (Confirmed, Pending, Seated, Late, Awaiting payment, In queue, …).
• The Print the day button (printer icon) in the header.

How to filter the list

1. Open the toolbar above the list (hidden in Simple mode: turn on List filters & sorting in Settings).
2. Pick a grouping and sort order.
3. Tap With allergies or With dietary, or enter a party size range.
4. Tap Clear filters to show everything again.

Good to know

• Walk-ins are hidden from the list by default so booked guests are not buried, including walk-ins pushed in by a POS. A notice shows "… walk-ins hidden from this list" with a Show link. To always list them, turn on Settings › Tables › Show walk-ins in reservation lists. Walk-ins always show on the timeline and on tables.
• Completed and no-show reservations can be hidden with Settings › Tables › Show completed & no-show.
• Cancelled reservations are never in this list; find them in the Reservation bin.
• Tap a reservation to open its details pane.

Troubleshooting

A walk-in I just seated is not in the list Walk-ins are hidden from lists unless you turn on Show walk-ins in reservation lists, or tap Show on the "walk-ins hidden" notice.

The list shows fewer reservations than the header count A filter is active (allergies, dietary, party size or experience). Check the "Showing … of …" footer and tap Clear filters.

I don't see the filter and sort controls They are hidden in Simple display mode. Turn on List filters & sorting in Settings › General › Display mode.

"No reservations match the current filters." Your filters exclude every booking for the day. Clear them, or check the date in the header.
