How to enable or disable an add-on
Add-ons add features to a location, such as a waitlist, gift vouchers or experiences. They are switched on per location. Some you can turn on yourself on the Add-ons page. Others are switched on by 10Seat (see "All add-ons at a glance").
Where to find it
Backoffice › Settings › Account Management › Add-ons. The page shows Current location at the top. Change the location in the location switcher before you start.
What it does
- Available add-ons lists each add-on with a short description and badges: Enabled or Disabled, Free for add-ons with no charge, and Beta. Paid add-ons show their monthly and yearly price, or "Subscribed" once you have subscribed.
- Learn More (on a disabled add-on) opens its add-on page with a feature overview, a Subscribe option with a monthly/yearly choice where the add-on is paid, and an enable button.
- Manage (on an enabled add-on) opens its settings. Disable switches it off for this location.
- Coming Soon lists announced add-ons that can't be switched on yet.
How to enable an add-on
- Select the location at the top.
- Go to Settings › Add-ons and click Learn More on the add-on.
- For a paid add-on, choose Monthly or Yearly and click Subscribe if you want to subscribe online.
- Click the enable button on the page (for example Enable Experiences or Enable Waitlist). A confirmation such as "Waitlist enabled" appears.
- Related menu items and settings tiles appear for this location. Some only after you reload the page.
How to disable an add-on
- On Settings › Add-ons, click Disable on the add-on.
- Confirm: "Disable this add-on for the current location? This may hide related pages and remove widget features."
Good to know
- Add-ons apply to one location. Repeat for each location that needs it.
- Disabling hides the related pages and widget features. Your data, such as experiences or vouchers, is kept.
- What you pay for add-ons is part of your agreement with 10Seat and is shown on My account. If you're unsure whether turning one on changes your bill, contact 10Seat support first.
- Gift vouchers can only be switched on once the selling setup is complete. The add-on page shows a checklist of what's missing.
Troubleshooting
"Admin required — Only admins can subscribe to or disable add-ons." and the buttons are greyed out Only users with the Admin role can switch add-ons on or off. Ask an Admin on your team. If you are the Owner and see this, contact 10Seat support to switch the add-on for you.
"You do not have permission to update this location" Your role isn't Admin, or you aren't an admin of this location. Ask an admin of this location, or contact 10Seat support.
"Complete your legal details and accept the terms before selling gift vouchers" Gift vouchers need your business details (Settings › Location Settings › Business & billing details) and the voucher terms. The Gift Vouchers add-on page lists what's missing.
"No Location Selected — Please select a location to manage add-ons." Pick a location in the location switcher.
Clicking Manage on Pacing Management or Order Priority shows "Page not found" Open them from the sidebar instead: Planning › Pacing for pacing, Table Management › Seating Management for order priority.
I enabled an add-on but its menu item isn't there Make sure the right location is selected, then reload the page.
The add-on I want isn't on the Add-ons page Some add-ons are switched on by 10Seat, for example Lightspeed POS, Reserve with Google and Chef's view. Contact 10Seat support. The Coco features for your team and for guests are switched on under Settings › Coco AI Assistant, once the Coco AI Assistant add-on is on.
