Map L-Series floors and tables

Add-on: Lightspeed POS — enabled for your location by 10SeatIntegrationsFor managers

Needs: Any backoffice user who can open the POS integration page

Table mapping links each Lightspeed L-Series floor and table to a 10Seat section and table, so seating a guest opens the right table on the POS and receipts land on the right table in 10Seat.

Where to find it

Backoffice › Settings › Integrations › POS integration › tab L-Series (Lightspeed POS) › L-Series floor & table mapping (shown once L-Series is connected).

What it does

  • Each Lightspeed floor appears as a card with Linked to or Not linked, and a badge such as 10/14 tables mapped.
  • When you connect, 10Seat smart-maps a table when its Lightspeed table number matches exactly one 10Seat table with the same number.
  • Under Table Mapping each Lightspeed table can be linked to one 10Seat table.

How to map floors and tables

  1. For each floor, choose a section under Map to 10Seat Section (-- Select Section --), or type a name in Or create new section... and click Create.
  2. For each Lightspeed table, pick a 10Seat table from the list (Section tables first, then Other tables).
  3. No 10Seat table for it yet? Click New to create one from the Lightspeed table and map it straight away. The floor must be mapped to a section first.
  4. Click Smart auto-map to match any remaining tables by number.
  5. Click Refresh after you change floors or tables in Lightspeed.

Good to know

  • Seating only opens a table on the POS when the 10Seat table is mapped.
  • Remove mapping unlinks a table; Remove floor mapping unlinks a floor from its section.
  • Floor and table mappings belong to the L-Series connection. If you switch to K-Series you map again on the K-Series tab.

Troubleshooting

"No floors found in your Lightspeed account." Make sure floors are configured in your Lightspeed POS, then click Refresh.

"Failed to load Lightspeed floor data" The connection could not read your floors. Click Refresh. If it keeps failing, check the connection status above (reconnect if needed) or contact 10Seat support.

"No tables found on this floor in Lightspeed." The floor exists in Lightspeed but has no tables. Add tables in Lightspeed and refresh.

"Map the floor to a section first" Choose a section for the floor before using New on one of its tables.

"No new tables could be matched automatically. Map the remaining ones below." Smart auto-map only matches when the number points to exactly one 10Seat table. Map the rest by hand.

The Host app shows a banner "… active POS receipt(s) have no table mapping — map tables in settings." Receipts are open on Lightspeed tables that aren't mapped. Map those tables here.
