Connect Lightspeed K-Series

Add-on: Lightspeed POS — enabled for your location by 10SeatIntegrationsFor managers

Needs: Admin role (linking, activation, sync toggle, Danger zone)

Connect your Lightspeed K-Series account to 10Seat, link each 10Seat location to its Lightspeed business location, and switch on reservation sync.

Where to find it

Backoffice › Settings › Integrations › POS integration › tab K-Series.

What it does

The connection has three layers, each shown on the K-Series tab:

  1. Lightspeed account connected — one Lightspeed login for your whole company ("One Lightspeed OAuth connection is shared across all locations in your company").
  2. Linked Lightspeed location — which Lightspeed business location belongs to the 10Seat location you have selected.
  3. Restaurant integration activated — the Lightspeed side is ready to receive reservations from 10Seat.

Once linked, the Reservation sync card offers Push reservations to K-Series: "When enabled, reservation creates and status changes in 10Seat are sent to Lightspeed using your 10Seat reservation ID."

How to set it up

  1. Select the 10Seat location in the backoffice and open the K-Series tab.
  2. On the Lightspeed K Series card, click Connect. You are sent to Lightspeed to sign in and approve access, then back to 10Seat.
  3. If your Lightspeed account has several business locations you see Select your Lightspeed business location. Pick the one matching this restaurant and click Link business location.
  4. 10Seat activates the restaurant integration, switches on Push reservations to K-Series, and auto-maps tables whose prefix and number match. A toast tells you how many tables and floors were auto-mapped.
  5. Check the status line reads Restaurant integration activated. If it reads Restaurant integration not activated yet, click Activate restaurant integration.
  6. Finish the table mapping below (see "Map K-Series floors and tables").
  7. For your other locations: switch location and click Link this location — the company account is already connected.

Good to know

  • Danger zone (admins only): Unlink location stops sync and table mapping for this location only. Change business location (type CHANGE) clears and rebuilds floor and table mappings. Disconnect account (type DISCONNECT) removes Lightspeed access for all locations of your company.
  • Deactivate restaurant integration stops reservation sync to the POS but keeps the account connection.
  • A Lightspeed business location can be linked to one 10Seat location only. If it is linked elsewhere you see "Already linked to …" — unlink it there first, or ask 10Seat support.
  • The K-Series webhook live log at the bottom lists the latest calls Lightspeed sent for this location. Updating an order in Lightspeed should make a new line appear — useful when support asks you to test.
  • Refresh webhook profile re-registers 10Seat with Lightspeed. Use it when 10Seat support asks you to.

Troubleshooting

"POS connection was denied. Please try again." The Lightspeed approval screen was cancelled or refused. Click Connect again and approve.

"K-Series OAuth failed: invalid scopes." The Lightspeed account did not grant all permissions 10Seat needs. Contact 10Seat support.

"No floor plans returned from K-Series" or floor plans won't load Floor plans need Lightspeed Order & Pay access on the connection. Disconnect and reconnect K-Series; if it persists, contact 10Seat support.

"This business location is already linked to … Unlink it there first." Another 10Seat location holds that Lightspeed location. Unlink it on that location's K-Series tab, or contact 10Seat support.

Status shows "Access token expired" or "Token needs refresh" Click Refresh Token. If refreshing fails, disconnect and reconnect the account — nothing syncs in either direction until the connection works again.

Receipts come in from Lightspeed but reservations don't reach the POS Check that Push reservations to K-Series is on and the status says Restaurant integration activated. See "Lightspeed K-Series sync problems".
