Analytics Data Quality tab — score, duplicates and missing fields
The Data Quality tab checks the reservations in a period for gaps and inconsistencies that make your analytics, guest profiles and communications less reliable.
Where to find it
Backoffice › Analytics › Data Quality. Uses the date range picker (default: last 30 days).
What it does
Data Quality Score — 0 to 100, with the number of reservations analysed. 80 and above is Good, 50–79 Needs Attention, below 50 Poor. The score starts at 100 and loses points for the share of reservations with each problem, weighted as follows: no table assigned (20), no duration (15), no email (15), no phone (10), no source (10), no status history (10), potential duplicates (10) and time-zone mismatches (10).
Cards
- Duplicate Reservations — pairs of reservations on the same date and time with the same party size and guest name. Shows No duplicates detected or the number of potential duplicates.
- Timezone Issues — whether all reservations use the same time zone (Consistent: ) or how many differ.
- Missing Fields — All fields complete or Some reservations have missing data.
Missing Fields Audit — per field (Table assignments, Duration, Email, Phone, Source, Status history) the number and share of reservations missing it (red above 20%, amber above 5%).
Timezone Distribution and Potential Duplicates — the details, with reservation IDs, so you can look them up.
Good to know
- All reservations in the period are checked, including cancelled ones.
- Walk-ins and phone bookings often have no email or phone; that lowers the score but may be expected for your restaurant.
- Imported reservations often lack a source or status history.
- Fixing data is done on the reservations themselves (for example cancelling a true duplicate, adding contact details, assigning tables) in the Host App or Backoffice reservations.
Troubleshooting
The score is low because of missing tables Reservations without a table assignment weigh most. Assign tables to reservations in the Host App.
Two different guests show as duplicates The check only compares date, time, party size and name. Two guests with the same name at the same time can be flagged; check before deleting anything.
Timezone Issues shows mismatches Some reservations were saved with a different time zone than most, for example created from a device or import in another time zone. Check the listed reservations' times.
