Get listed on Reserve with Google
Reserve with Google lets guests book a table at your restaurant straight from Google Search and Google Maps. 10Seat sends Google your real availability and takes the booking into your reservation list.
Where to find it
Backoffice › Settings › Integrations › Reserve with Google. The card shows Coming soon until 10Seat enables your location, then Enabled with "This location is included in the Google Reserve feeds."
What it does
10Seat sends Google, every morning, your bookable times for each party size, and Google checks with 10Seat again the moment a guest picks a time.
What Google receives:
- Your venue: the location name and address (street, postcode, city, country) or map coordinates. Google uses these to match your Google Business Profile.
- Booking window: from today up to the last date your own booking rules let guests book, capped at 180 days. Google never offers a date your widget would refuse.
- Times and party sizes: the same times your booking widget offers, for each party size your widget allows, up to 20 guests. The same online rules apply: closed days, blocked times, opening hours, last booking time and advance notice.
- One Google booking per time slot and party size: once a Google guest books a given time for a given party size, Google stops offering that exact slot, even if you have another free table. Your own widget is not affected.
- Experiences (optional): when 10Seat also publishes your experiences, each active experience appears on Google as a seating option (the way Google shows "Bar" or "Tasting menu"), with its name and description as plain text.
- Experiences with a deposit or card guarantee: these are only published when payment link-outs are enabled for your location. Google then shows the price and sends the guest to your 10Seat booking page to pay and book. Without link-outs they are left off Google, so no paid experience is ever booked without payment.
How to set it up
- Make sure your location's name and full address are filled in, and match your Google Business Profile.
- Check your booking widget shows the times you want to sell: shifts, booking window, online party sizes, and tables open for online booking.
- Contact 10Seat support and ask to be enabled on Reserve with Google. For experiences on Google you also need the Reservation experiences add-on.
- Once enabled, the Integrations card turns to Enabled. Google bookings start arriving once Google has matched your listing.
Good to know
- Google only offers tables 10Seat can assign automatically and that are open for online booking.
- Experience names and descriptions reach Google without emoji. A description containing a web address, email address or phone number is left out; the experience still appears with its name.
- 10Seat can publish a different venue name to Google if your 10Seat name doesn't match your Business Profile — ask support.
Troubleshooting
Our restaurant doesn't appear with a booking button on Google Check in order: the Integrations card says Enabled (if not, contact support); your address is complete with a recognisable country; name and address match your Google Business Profile. Google decides when the button appears after matching — contact 10Seat support if it doesn't show.
Google shows no times, or fewer than our widget Google mirrors your widget. If the widget shows no times for that day (no shift, outside the booking window, closed day, blocked slots, last booking time passed), Google shows none either. Times also disappear once a Google booking holds that slot and party size.
A party size is missing on Google Google offers only the party sizes your widget allows online, and never more than 20.
Our experience isn't on Google It is inactive, has no name, needs a deposit or card guarantee while payment link-outs aren't enabled, or experience publishing isn't on for your location. Contact 10Seat support to check.
