Create gift voucher products and packages

Besides plain amounts, your voucher shop can sell named vouchers with their own image and price ("Products"), and bundles of products sold at a discount ("Packages") — for example a tasting menu for two.

Where to find it

Backoffice › Settings › Gift Vouchers › Products & packages tab.

What it does

• Products — fixed-value vouchers with their own name, image and price. Fields: Product name, Amount, Description, Image, Display order and Active (visible in the shop).
• Packages — bundle products together and set a discount on the total. Fields: Package name, Package items (products from your list), Discount amount, Description, Image, Display order and Active. The editor shows the Total and the final price; package cards show Save with the discount.

In the shop, products and packages appear under Or give an evening — Set menus and packages, ordered by display order. Inactive items are hidden.

How to create a product

1. Open the Products & packages tab and click Add product.
2. Enter the Product name and Amount, and optionally a description and image.
3. Set the display order and keep Active (visible in the shop) ticked.
4. Save. You see Product created.

How to create a package

1. Create the products you want to bundle first (Packages need at least one product first.).
2. Click Add package, enter the Package name and add products under Package items.
3. Enter a Discount amount if you want one. Check the total and final price.
4. Save. You see Package created.

Good to know

• A buyer who chooses a product or package gets one gift voucher worth the price paid (for a package: the final price after the discount). The product or package name is not a separate kind of voucher — the guest spends it like any other voucher balance.
• Deleting a product or package asks Delete this product? / Delete this package? and removes it from the shop. Vouchers already sold are not affected.
• If a guest has a product page open and you deactivate it, they get This voucher is no longer available. (or This package is no longer available.).
• Products and packages use the gift voucher currency set in the Rules tab.

Troubleshooting

"Please fill in all required fields" A product needs at least a name and an amount.

"Fill in the name and add at least one product" A package needs a name and at least one product.

"No products available. Create a product first." You are creating a package but have no products yet. Add a product first.

"Failed to save product" / "Failed to save package" Saving needs a company-wide Owner or Admin. Check your role, or ask an Admin.

A package shows in the shop without a price, or guests get an error when they try to buy it This is a known problem with packages created in the Backoffice: the shop does not pick up the package price. Contact 10Seat support. In the meantime, sell the bundle as a single product with the discounted price as its amount.

My product doesn't show in the shop Check it is marked Active, that the shop is open (see "Set up your online gift voucher shop"), and reload the shop page.
