Publish last-minute tables on Yeat
Yeat is a marketplace for last-minute tables. You publish an opening — a table for a given time and party size — and Yeat notifies users who favourited your restaurant. When someone books it, the booking lands in your 10Seat reservation list with a Yeat badge.
Where to find it
Backoffice › Settings › Integrations › Yeat › Yeat openings. The card is only clickable once 10Seat has enabled Yeat for your location.
What it does
- Publish an opening creates a last-minute table on Yeat for a date, time and party size.
- Your openings lists upcoming openings with their time and "Table for 4 (2–4)". Each one shows Open or Booked by with the guest's name.
- A booking made on Yeat becomes a confirmed 10Seat reservation for the opening's time and the guest's party size, with the guest's contact details. Its length is your default reservation duration.
How to publish an opening
- Open the Yeat openings page with the right location selected.
- Under Publish an opening, set Party size (2 to 10 guests).
- Optionally adjust Min and Max — the smallest and largest group that may book this opening. Min can't be higher than Max.
- Pick the Date and Time. It must be in the future.
- Click Publish on Yeat.
- To withdraw an opening that hasn't been booked, click the bin icon ("Remove this opening from Yeat"). Booked openings can't be removed here.
Good to know
- Yeat bookings arrive without a table. Assign a table in the Host app before the guest arrives.
- 10Seat does not send its own confirmation email for Yeat bookings. Your team gets a staff notification.
- Publishing an opening does not block anything in 10Seat. Make sure you really have the table free at that time.
- Click Refresh to reload the list.
Troubleshooting
"Yeat is not enabled for this location yet — contact 10Seat to get connected." Contact 10Seat support to enable Yeat for this location.
"Yeat is enabled, but 10Seat is still completing your venue setup on the Yeat marketplace." 10Seat is finishing your listing on Yeat. Publishing becomes available once that is done.
"Pick a date and time for the opening" Fill in both Date and Time before publishing.
"Failed to publish the opening" Check that the time is in the future, the party size is between 2 and 10, and Min is not higher than Max. If all is correct, Yeat may be unavailable — try again later or contact 10Seat support.
A Yeat booking appeared without a table That is expected. Assign a table manually.
