Multi-location booking: what guests see

If your company has more than one location, guests can book any of them from one widget, and a guest who finds one location full can be pointed to your other locations. This article explains the guest side and where the settings live.

Where to find it

Switch to HQ in the location switcher (top of the sidebar), then:

  • HQ › Multi-Location Widget – one widget for all (or some) of your locations.
  • HQ › Group Booking – suggestions of sister locations and the group availability widget.

Only admins whose rights cover the whole company see HQ.

What it does

Multi-location widget

  • The guest first sees Choose a location, with a search box (Search locations...) and Near me to sort by distance. Location photos can be shown or hidden (Show location images on picker).
  • After picking a location the normal booking flow follows. Change location takes them back.
  • The bubble button reads "Book a table" by default.
  • You set Company Name, Accent Color, an optional Location picker logo, Style (Bubble or Embedded) and Light/Dark, then copy either the All Locations (Company-wide) code or the Curated Subset code (only the locations you keep selected).

Group booking

  • When a date has no availability, the widget shows Other locations in our group with their next free time or "Waitlist available", and a Book here button.
  • A guest who hesitates can see the nudge "Looking for a table? Check our other locations."
  • With Location picker set to Availability, guests choose guests and a date once and every location card shows its bookable times. With Directory, guests pick a location before seeing availability.
  • Per location you choose Promotable or Hidden, and add a pitch, cuisine, vibe, price level and proximity note shown on the suggestion cards.

How to set it up

  1. Open HQ › Multi-Location Widget, fill in the appearance, select the locations and click Save.
  2. Copy the embed code you need and paste it on your group website.
  3. For suggestions, open HQ › Group Booking, click Enable group booking, mark the locations as Promotable, and click Save.

Good to know

  • The multi-location widget uses the accent color set in HQ, not each location's own button color.
  • The company-wide code always shows every location that is not archived; new locations appear automatically.
  • Suggestions only appear when group booking is enabled and at least one other location is Promotable.

Troubleshooting

I can't see HQ in the location switcher Your user only has rights for one or some locations. Ask an admin with company-wide rights, or contact 10Seat support.

"Near me" does not work The guest refused location access, or the website shows the widget inside a frame that blocks location. The widget says "Location is not available here (browser or site policy)". The list still works without sorting.

A location is missing from the picker It was deselected for the Curated Subset code, or the location is archived.

Guests are never offered our other locations Group booking is not enabled, or no other location is Promotable.
