Set up the floating bubble button

In bubble mode, the booking widget sits behind a round "Book" button in the bottom-right corner of your website. This article covers the button's text, color and when it appears.

Where to find it

• Text and color: Backoffice › Settings › Widget Management › Appearance
• Behaviour: Backoffice › Settings › Widget Management › Integration › Bubble Mode
• Test page: the Bubble Preview button above the live preview opens the bubble on a blank page.

What it does

• Bubble Launcher Text – the label on the collapsed button, up to 24 characters. Leave empty to use the default ("Book here!" in the guest's language).
• Bubble Launcher Color – color of the collapsed button only. The text color is chosen automatically for contrast.
• Open widget on page load – the booking panel opens by itself when a guest visits your site.
• Show launcher only after scrolling – the button stays hidden until the guest scrolls down. Set the distance in Show after scrolling (px); leave it empty for the default of 300px.

How to set it up

1. Go to Settings › Widget Management and open Appearance.
2. Choose Custom Theme if you want your own colors, then set Bubble Launcher Color.
3. Type your Bubble Launcher Text, for example "Reserve".
4. Open Integration and switch on Open widget on page load or Show launcher only after scrolling if you want them.
5. Click Save theme in the bar at the bottom of the page.
6. Click Bubble Preview to check the result.

Good to know

• These options only apply to the bubble code. The embedded widget ignores them.
• You do not need to replace the code on your website after changing these settings.
• When the guest has picked a language in the widget, the default launcher text follows that language. A custom text is shown as you typed it.

Troubleshooting

My new launcher text or color does not show on my website The changes were not saved, or your browser shows a cached version. Click Save theme, then reload your website (or open it in a private window).

The bubble button never appears Show launcher only after scrolling is on and the page is too short to scroll that far. Lower Show after scrolling (px) or switch the option off.

The panel keeps opening by itself Open widget on page load is on. Switch it off and save.

The bubble covers my site's chat or cookie button Both sit in the bottom-right corner. Ask your web developer to move the other button, or use the embedded widget on a dedicated page instead.
